Ireland’s largest and longest-running car boot sale is held on Sundays at Kilkenny Sunday Market.

Indoor Sale in Co. Clare

Kilcully Scout Camp Car Boot Sale
Location: Kilcully Scout Campsite, Cork City, (northern outskirts)
Next Sale: Every Sunday
Opening time: Gates open at approximately 8.30am for traders. Customers usually arrive from 9.00am onwards.
Directions: At the Grotto in Blackpool proceed right, up Dublin Hill and keep walking until you reach the Y junction at “The Black Man” bar. Take the left branch and at the foot of the hill take left at the sign for the Cemetery (sign on right side of the road). Follow this route and park in the parking lot near to the graveyard. Across the street is the campsite. Please wait in line at the designated entrance to access the premises, traders.
Fees: Traders €10 (Extra fees may apply in certain cases)
Customers €2 per Adult, Children free!

Ballydehob Car Boot Sale
(both inside and outside, with the hall available to those holding inside stalls.)
Location: The Community Hall, Ballydehob, West Cork

Location: GAA Grounds, Belgooly, Co.Cork
Next Sale: 1st Sunday of the month

Public admission: € 2 and Children FREE
Direction: Head toward Kinsale from Cork, pass through Riverstick, proceed to Belgooly, and make a right at the pubs to reach the GAA pitch. It ought to have signage.

Blarney GAA Club Car Boot Sale
Location: Castle Close Road, Blarney, Co.Cork
Opening Time: The club grounds open at 6.00am for sellers and the public from 7.00am

Castletownroche Car Boot Sale
Location: Castletownroche, Co.Cork (on the N72 Mallow/Fermoy road)
Sales signposted from the square in Castletownroche.
Next Sale: Every Monday but check before you go, it varies a lot.

Facilities: welcoming environment with lots of parking spots and trade areas both inside and outside. With much to see indoors and drinks available all day, the indoor space makes it perfect for any weather. facilities on site, including toilets.
Fees: Sellers: €8 car and €15 van
Admission: Adults €2 and children free.
Direction: Turn off the N20 to the left, toward Doneraile, approximately five miles out of Limerick, at the Cork side of Charleville. Proceed through Doneraile and follow the signs for Castletownroche, veering left at the top of the hamlet.
From Kerry, Mallow or Fermoy follow the N72 to Castletownroche.
Further Information: There’s no need to make reservations; simply show up on the day and feel free to bring an assistant at no additional cost. A pleasant conversation or a day of shopping may be had at the Castletownroche Car Boot Sale.
Car Boot Sale in Rathcormac
Location: The Community Field, Rathcormac, Co.Cork

Direction: The car boot sale takes place in the ‘new’ Community Field – signposted from the village.
Further Information: Stewards will be available to provide assistance and support in the event that any concerns emerge, and the sale will be conducted strictly in compliance with Government and HSE Covid-19 rules.
Arriving early is advised, particularly if the forecast is favorable. You can opt to set up in a favorable spot if you arrive early. Bring your own display booth, please. A sheet spread out on the grass is what some people use, and others use tables.

Location: Balbriggan Car Boot Sale, Balbriggan, Co.Dublin

Opening Time: From: 8.00am – 2.00pm. Apparently, traders start to gather as early as 6:00am
Fees: Sellers: Cars €20 and Vans €20, Buyers: €2 fee to park the car
Direction: There are two Balbriggan exits on the M1, if you’re traveling there from Dublin. The first exit, marked Balbriggan/Walshestown, is clearly marked. The second exit is marked Balbriggan/Naul. Proceed to the second exit. After climbing the slip road, bear right to cross the motorway bridge and go through the subsequent little roundabout located on the other side of the bridge. It’s just a few yards past the roundabout if you take the next right. About 200 yards along the right-hand side lies the market entrance.
